How we handle your application.
Plain language, because you’re trusting us with your CV. This notice covers jobs.nitromaps.com. Last updated September 6, 2026.
Who we are
Nitro Studios (NITRO - VIDEO GAME RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT LTD), an independent game studio in Tel Aviv, Israel. We run this careers site and we are the data controller for everything you submit here.
What we collect when you apply
- What you type: your name, email, phone number, LinkedIn and portfolio links if you add them, and your note to us.
- Your CV: the PDF or Word file you upload. It is checked for safety (file type and content) and stored in a private bucket that only the hiring team can open, through short-lived links.
- Technical details: the country your connection comes from, your browser type, the link that brought you here, and a one-way hash of your network address that we use only to stop automated abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.
Why we use it
To review your application, contact you about it, run the hiring process (interviews, tests, an offer), and keep a record of that process. We process it because you asked us to consider you, and because hiring is a legitimate interest of a studio that is growing.
Who sees it
Nitro’s hiring team. New applications also trigger an internal notification to that team. Your data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) under their security commitments. We never sell it, share it with recruiters or advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after the process for the role ends, so we can consider you for roles that open later. Ask and we delete it sooner. If we hire you, the application becomes part of your employee file.
Visits and share links
This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising pixels. When you arrive through one of our share links (for example from LinkedIn or Facebook) we record the click, the pages you open, and whether you start or submit the form, tied to a random token in the link or to a hash that changes daily. This tells us which channels bring candidates; it does not identify you, and it is not shared with anyone.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your application, or have everything deleted, at any time. Write to business@nitromaps.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
